  • My studio focuses primarily on advanced and seriously aspiring classical pianists. This includes pre-college students preparing for conservatory auditions, undergraduate and graduate students, and adult pianists pursuing high-level artistic development. Lessons emphasize technical mastery, interpretive depth, performance psychology, and competition/audition preparation. Beginners and intermediate students are accepted on a case-by-case basis.

    • In-person lessons are held in my professional studio in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They offer the full acoustic experience and immediate hands-on guidance.

    • Online lessons are conducted via Zoom with high-quality audio and video. I have a dedicated professional setup optimized for piano (multiple cameras, excellent sound transmission). Many of my students successfully prepare competitions and conservatory auditions entirely online.

  • Advanced students typically take 60-minute lessons once per week. Some serious pre-college or competition students schedule 75–90 minute lessons or twice-weekly sessions during peak preparation periods. Lesson length and frequency are customized based on goals and schedule.

  • Yes. All new students must complete a paid consultation/audition lesson (typically 45–60 minutes). This allows us to assess current level, discuss goals, and determine if we are a good fit before committing to ongoing study.

  • Lessons canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged in full. Make-up lessons are offered when possible, subject to availability. Consistent attendance is essential for meaningful progress, especially at the advanced level.

  • Tuition is billed monthly and depends on lesson length and frequency. Please contact me directly for current rates. Serious students often find the investment highly worthwhile given the level of individualized professional coaching provided.

  • You will need:

    • A quiet space with a well-tuned acoustic piano

    • A computer or tablet with a stable high-speed internet connection

    • A webcam (preferably external for better angle)

    • Microphone (preferably a USB condenser microphone, e.g. Blue Yeti)

    • Good lighting

  • This is a major focus of the studio. I provide detailed repertoire guidance, technical refinement, interpretive coaching, mock auditions, and performance psychology support. Many current and former students have successfully gained admission to top programs and won significant competitions.
